Bio: Rebecca Zuvich Essner works on population health initiatives and is the Principal Investigator for WholeMe, a series of pilot studies focused on introducing the Central Florida community to the impact genomics can have on wellness, to create clinical pathways for those with pathogenic results and to further genetic research efforts at AdventHealth. Dr. Essner has a PhD in Human Genetics and a master’s degree in applied statistics, both from Vanderbilt University. She is passionate about genomics, public health research, implementation of research into clinical care, and the public policy associated with this implementation.
