Walter C. Hayne, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon, who is part of the AdventHealth Medical Group’s breast surgery specialty practice. A former hospital Chief of Surgery, he brings a wealth of experience, including expert surgical care for breast cancer patients and advanced skills in procedures like skin-sparing mastectomies. Dr. Hayne began his medical studies at Temple University in Philadelphia. And after graduating summa cum laude, enrolled in the university’s medical program, where he stood out as an award-winning medical student. He then pursued a general surgery residency in New York City. For more than 20 years, Dr. Hayne has demonstrated award-winning bedside manner and clinical excellence.

Topic: Breast Cancer Awareness.  Dr. Hayne will address the importance of screening/early detection, statistics, and breast cancer treatment.
