I never wanted to be in sales. I wanted to be an actor. I even booked a national McDonald’s commercial in Los Angeles right out of college. In my early 30’s, I worked hard for success as an on air personality in the radio business. I decided to take a leap of faith and move into commission sales after I had my first child because I wanted the freedom and financial security that a career in advertising sales offered but the probability of success was low.
I've never been motivated by money. Turns out, my preconceived ideas about sales and sales people were all wrong. I was willing to change my mindset and once I focused on a few simple activities every day, I was on the way to making all of my professional dreams come true!
Maybe something I’ve experienced will be the key to unlocking your success!
